Heckuva Handyman is a family owned local business. The Owner has over 26 years experience in this field. Our mission is to provide Quality work at a fair price. We focus on small jobs only (typical job duration: 2 hours to a few days) . Although we have many years experience building homes, additions, basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and many other larger jobs, we have scaled back to focus on the type of work we enjoy most, which is smaller jobs.
Due to changes in the economy and in the building & housing industries over the last decade, we have found that the only way to be happy :) and flourish is to diversify. We run three different businesses that we love, so we cannot devote the time that larger jobs require. “Heckuva Handyman” takes priority during normal business hours.
One of our other businesses is an add/on to the Handyman business. It’s called Stumpinator™ or Stumpinator Stump Removal/ Grinding. Our web site is www.Stumpinator.com. We work for homeowners almost exclusively, with the exception of landscapers and other types of contractors. We do not sub for tree companies and very rarely do jobs for tree companies, unless they do not own a grinder and wish to just pass our name along. We usually grind in the afternoons and early evenings and some Saturdays in order to operate “Heckuva Handyman” during normal business hours. Big stump jobs are done during normal business hours and are scheduled in advance.
Our other small business is internet based. We make several stainless steel and mild steel based products out of our home “SHOP” and sell the products to customers all over the world via the internet. We do all our own marketing, web site management and design. The owner has several patents pending and owns several trademarks.
